THE BEAUTY SPOT : Milan's hot products!

It seems the only beauty accessory you need backstage at Milan Fashion Week is Smoulder by MAC. I was running through the reviews and the trend forecasts for next season - yes summer - and it is seriously the only thing that comes up repeatedly in all the shows!

The above image is from the Pucci Show but the pencil also created the dark smoky eyes of Roberto Cavalli models....

The look is a little lighter then the dark smokey eyes of winter.  It's more a tap, a smudge and a blend then a thick line. I also heard that artists didn't use any powders over it but just smudged it out. Personally, this is something that I love Smoulder for. It's creamy and easy to blend but yet has staying power so it wont be gone in five minutes. Perfect pencil!

 Incase anyone is interested - the mega cheekbones on the model above have been created using 'Coffee Walnut' from the new line of sculpting creams from MAC. These creams are another product which are all over the fashion weeks at the moment.

Having used them myself - I would say that it is because it is much easier to get a more natural finish and an easier blend with a cream. Oh and since most the artists backstage use Face and Body foundation - the creams look even better with the dewy finish foundation!
