Khloe Kardashian has opened up about estranged husband Lamar Odom's first public appearance following his devastating drug overdose late last year.
The 31-year-old reality star revealed that brother-in-law Kanye West played a huge role in getting the athlete back on his feet and able to attend his Yeezy 3 presentation earlier this month.
Khloe was talking with hosts on Hollywood Today Live on Tuesday where she said that the rapper would play his music at Lamar's bedside as he lay comatose in hospital.
'Kanye was really instrumental in Lamar getting better,' she said.

'Kanye would come to the hospital and play his album for Lamar,
'Lamar couldn't speak at this time... but he would say he could understand everything, he just couldn't get the words out and he felt really trapped in his own body which was terrifying,
'When he was finally able to speak he would say "Man, Kanye really helped me, I love that he would come'
The reality star said that it meant a lot to Lamar to make it to Madison Square Garden for Kanye's event after all he'd done for him
Khloe spoke of her amazement at the former NBA star's miraculous recovery - considering he couldn't walk only a month and a half ago - to be able to attend the Madison Square Garden event and show his support for the 38-year-old Gold Digger hitmaker.
But she wasn't so sure he was ready to be going to such a big public show.
'I did not want him to go to New York, I had a ton of anxiety, like "Is it too much stimulus for his brain?"
But the KUWTK star revealed that doctors cleared Lamar to go to the highly anticipated fashion extravaganza.
'He was good to go and it meant so much to Lamar' she said.
Musical therapy: Khloe explained that although Lamar couldn't speak at this time he later said he understood everything and once out of his coma said 'Man, Kanye really helped me, I love that he would come'

Pictures from the February 11 event showed the athlete clad in sweater, beanie and camouflage jacket as he stood in the spotlight with the Only One rapper.
He also flashed a smile as he posed backstage with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Meanwhile, on this week's episode of Kocktails with Khloe, the blonde beauty talked about how much love she still has for the 36-year-old professional basketball player.
So much love: It's the second time this week Khloe has talked about Lamar's recovery as she also talked about how she hasn't ruled out reconciling romantically with the former NBA star
She told her guests that she hadn't ruled out remarrying Lamar, saying 'I mean, that would be like the best dream.
'But it's really hard to erase everything that happened. Just building a friendship back is what I'm doing now, it has nothing intimately, nothing at all, just pure love and I want someone to learn how to love themselves again.' she explained.
Following Lamar's October collapse after a four-day bender at a Nevada brothel, Khloe has stayed close by his side despite filing for divorce in 2013.
